Bert van Manen voted 8 times to cut penalty rates

We all need a pay rise. But Scott Morrison & Bert van Manen are cutting wages again.

On 1 July 2018, there were more cuts to penalty rates – twice as big as last year.

In Forde these cuts hit 3089 people.

To add insult, on the very same day that penalty rates are cut again, Bert van Manen received a pay rise of $4,588.

Under the LNP, it’s pay rises for them and pay cuts for the rest of us. Do you think that’s fair?

Bert van Manen could have voted to stop these penalty rates cuts. He voted 8 times to back big business instead.
